 IIT Madras To Begin JAM 2024 Registration Today: Indian Institute of Technology, Madras will open the registration link for Joint Admission Test (JAM 2024) today i.e. Tuesday, 5 September 2023. Those candidates who want to apply for this exam can fill the form by visiting the official website after the link is opened. To do this, the address of the official website of IIT JAM is – jam.iitm.ac.in. Through this exam, admission is available in post graduate programs in IITs and other institutes.

Note important dates
Applications for IIT JAM Exam 2023 will start from today and the last date to fill the form is 13 October 2023. Fill the form in the prescribed format before this date. Also know that JAM Exam 2024 will be conducted next year i.e. on 11th February of the year 2024.

Who is eligible to apply?
Those candidates who have completed their UG degree can apply for this examination. Last year students can also apply and foreign students having Indian degree are also eligible to apply. There is no age limit for appearing in this paper.

how much fee will have to be paid
To apply for IIT JAM exam 2024, candidates will have to pay the fee according to the category. The fee for SC, ST and PWD category candidates is Rs 900. Whereas for all other categories of candidates the fee is Rs 1800. This fee is for one paper. Whereas for two papers, reserved candidates will have to pay Rs 1250 and candidates of all other categories will have to pay Rs 2500. You can choose one or two papers.

The paper pattern will be something like this
JAM 2024 will be a computer based examination. There will be total three sections in it. There will be one section of multiple choice questions, second of multiple select questions and third of numerical answer type questions. On the basis of its score, candidates get admission in many courses like MSc, MSc Technology, MSc-MTech Dual Degree etc.
